When you see 11/0, then the number 11 means the amount of beads that fit in one inch. This means the lower the number, the larger the bead is. The sizes of the seed beads can be classified as extra small, small, medium, large and extra large. The 11/0 seed beads are then small and measure 1,6 mm in length and 1.3 mm in height.

Colortype Color lined (semi) matte

Color lined means that the core of the bead is colored. And this color is the most visible in the beads and overrules the outside color. They are treated to make them look less smooth and less transparant, and this is called matte or frosted. This kind of bead is less suitable for weaving or peyote, because the outside of the bead is transparent. When it is next to an opaque color in the bracelet, it seems that the bead is shorter and therefore the sides of the bracelet are not completely aligned. This effect is more visible using the transparant beads, as with the matte beads this is less visible.
