A toggle clasp is a two-part clasp consisting of a ring and a bar. The bar end requires a short length of thin work to allow it to slide lengthwise through the ring, then turn sideways so that it cannot fit back through the ring, effectively closing the jewellery piece. It is better not to combine the toggle clasp with very large beads or multiple strands, otherwise it will be difficult to close the jewelry. The solution is to use smaller beads at the last part of the bead work, because then it wil fit through the eye. The eye (without the circle) has a diameter of 15 mm. The bar is 25 mm long, 3 mm thick.
